Privacy Policy

Updated 28 October 2026. PickDash is operated by an individual based in Saudi Arabia. Created by DesertTap Games Studio, a publishing studio name, not a registered company.

PickDash runs its decision tools in your browser. No account is required. Names, options, pictures, setups and results are not uploaded to a PickDash database during play. We do not currently load advertising or analytics scripts.

Information stored in this browser

PickDash automatically saves drafts, recent decision history (up to 40 records), selection progress, and preferences when browser storage is available. Explicit saves can include lists, reusable game setups, sessions, results, remaining timer time, undo history, team rules, weights, and optional pictures or emojis. Storage belongs to this browser profile and website address. It is not encrypted or synchronized.

Export, import, and delete

Use Export backup in Settings or My PickDash to download the library. Imports add validated saved records; they do not replace current drafts or preferences. Save important drafts as a list, game, or session before relying on an importable backup. Exported files are readable and should be protected like the information they contain.

Use Manage and Delete in My PickDash to remove individual records. To remove all drafts, history, preferences, and older-version saves, clear this website's cookies and site data in your browser settings. Browser cleanup can erase saves; keep a separate backup if needed. Other people using the same browser profile may access this data. Compatible Version 0.1 saves are copied without deleting the original storage key. Local records remain until deleted by you or your browser; history is limited by count rather than time.

Sharing links and personal information

Creating a link explicitly encodes names, choices, setup settings, and optionally a completed result in the URL after #share=. Encoding is not encryption. Anyone with the full link can decode and copy it. Links cannot be revoked, and copies may remain after you clear local data.

URL fragments are normally excluded from HTTP requests to the host. Full links can still reach messaging services, browser history or synchronization, extensions, recipients, or scripts allowed to read the page. Use minimal labels and avoid sensitive information. Obtain any permission needed before sharing other people's names or pictures. Files are also readable; choose trusted recipients.

Hosting and technical information

The public site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare receives connection information, including IP addresses, browser information and requests, to deliver and protect the website. Its global infrastructure may process information outside Saudi Arabia. Provider processing, retention and safeguards are described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not promise a fixed provider log-retention period. The operator does not maintain a separate application database of your game entries.

Contact requests and your choices

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents you send, and use them to answer your request, investigate problems or meet applicable obligations. Avoid including participant lists, sensitive details or unnecessary attachments. Correspondence is kept only as needed for those purposes and relevant legal obligations; you may request deletion.

For questions, access, correction or deletion requests concerning information you have sent us, contact deserttap.games@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify a request. We cannot access or delete data stored solely in your browser or copies held by recipients. Rights, exceptions and complaint routes depend on applicable law; nothing in this notice limits statutory rights.

Audience and advertising

PickDash is a general-purpose decision tool. Adults supervising classroom or family use should use minimal labels and help children understand sharing. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information through contact requests. Contact us if a child has sent personal information that should be removed.

Advertising is not active. Before enabling Google AdSense, we will update this notice to describe Google's processing and configure the applicable consent and privacy controls. No advertising consent is requested for inactive advertising. See Cookies & browser storage.
